WHAT WE DO

Bold For Christ Magazine & Ministry exists to serve and bless the local church community of Laredo and the surrounding areas.

We don’t do the work of the “local church”, but to come alongside and assist our church community wherever possible. We believe in connecting Christians to one another, and so we will always be looking for Church Ambassadors – local representatives of each Christian Church that can communicate the latest information needed to convey their church message to the city-wide community through our website and bimonthly magazines.

 

We are committed to make this a treasure of “insider information” about the latest faith-based interests going on in our city and the surrounding areas. We’re committed in creating a Christian-based content that will help local Christians become Bold for Christ!

As we launch our first print and digital copy of Bold For Christ, we invite you to be part of our venture and become a contributor.

We also support ministries through graphic design such as logos, ads, and other content to engage and inspire  the lost and the saved.

FAQs

"Is Bold for Christ Ministries a church?"

No, we are not. Hence the word "ministries" in our organization's name, we are an evangelistic ministry that encourages students and the community to attend their local Christian church. Though we host Bible studies and events, we are not a church.

"Where do you meet?"

At the moment, as stated in the "Student Ministry" tab, we are meeting up at TAMIU's Student Center for Bible studies. As mentioned above, Bold For Christ is a remote ministry. Meaning, depending on the circumstance, we may move locations from time to time. As for now, TAMIU is our go-to spot. If the Lord calls us to move to a different location, this section on our site will be immediately updated.

"Do I have to be trained in order to evangelize with you?"

Not at all! If you have the right mind, heart, and intention for it, then by all means come along with us!
However, you must be in agreement with what we believe in (see the "Statement of Faith" tab). If not, then you cannot evangelize with us.

Now, if you want to evangelize and don't know how to go about it, that is perfectly fine as we train our students exactly how to do so without a cost! We preach, teach, pray, and practice how to evangelize before we go out to do our outreaches.

"What do your outreaches look like?"

We do a variety of evangelistic outreaches, such as: Preaching on the pulpit at a park, doing public interviews for a YouTube video, offering prayer to random strangers, creating helpful services for the community while sharing the gospel, having fellowship events, and so much more. We find creative ways to attract the public and implement the gospel wherever we can.
